• Regular backups and data protection
• Export capabilities for your data

As a Family Journal user, you agree to:

• Use the service for lawful family journaling purposes
• Respect the privacy of other family members
• Not share inappropriate or harmful content
• Maintain the security of your account credentials

4. Family Ownership

The family Owner has administrative control and is responsible for:

• Managing family member access
• Setting family preferences
• Deciding on content retention
• Account closure decisions

5. Content Ownership

You retain all rights to your content. By using Family Journal, you grant us permission to:

• Store and display your content to authorized family members
• Create backups for data protection
• Generate photo variants for different screen sizes

We will never use your content for advertising or AI training without explicit permission.

6. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for:

• Scheduled maintenance (with advance notice)
• Force majeure events
• Third-party service disruptions

7. Termination

You can cancel your account at any time and export your data. We may terminate accounts that:

• Violate these terms
• Engage in harmful behavior
• Remain inactive for over 2 years

We'll provide 30 days notice before account termination when possible.

8. Limitation of Liability

Family Journal is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months.
